Voting is important in a Democracy and we should be encouraging young people to vote rather than making it more difficult.

SB660 is a request of the Secretary of State, and amends the process for obtaining a photo identification card voucher form to exempt individuals from the voter identification card fee.

I support this bill, as it lowers barriers for those who already have a valid ID in the form of a drivers' license to be able to change the form of ID they carry while not losing access to voting.

I support because I think removing the fee will encourage people to vote.

The United States has a very very low rate of election fraud. Trump insisted after the election of 2020 that there had been massive fraud. Endless recounts and researches were done all over the country. A very minimal amount of fraud was found. Trump, whose poll numbers are low and declining, is worried his party may not do well in the midterms. He is promoting "election security" and the "Save Act". We don't need it. He could use it to try to steal the election.

Our constitution does not say that every citizen must get a Drivers License. Some people can't or don't want to drive. Some just fail the exam. These people should have an easy path to getting tools that allow them to exercise their rite to vote.

This bill places barriers to voting for college students and is discriminatory. A deliberate attempt to disenfranchise them. I am against this bill. Please vote against it.

This is very important to allow full access to voting for everyone.

I support SB?660 because it simplifies and clarifies where voters can get the voucher form needed for a free voter ID card, limiting issuance to local town and city clerks. This change helps streamline the process and reinforces the role of local officials in administering elections.

Having no fee to obtain an ID solely for the purposes of voting is the right thing to do. One should not have to pay in order to vote.

Some towns in NH are being discussed at a national level for their mismanagement... why are we removing the secretary of state as a possible place to get a voucher? Why not allow town hall OR secretary of state? That seems like the safest thing for voters so they always have an option, in case of issues at the town level?

Many people don't have driver's licenses, passports, or student ID's. It makes sense for the state to provide an alternative ID that people can use so that they can vote. Because we want as many people to vote as possible. We're trying to be a democracy here.

If a person does not have a licence or needs to stop driving for some reason, it makes sense to pass this bill. It doesn't harm anyone and it helps those who need the idea but cannot drive for some reason. Thanks for considering this bill.
