I oppose this bill because it reduces transparency or public accountability and does not meaningfully improve outcomes for New Hampshire residents.

This bill would create an appeal process for educators who had their licenses revoked for non criminal offenses. It also would remove people’s names from the state website who have died. I know one person who was an excellent teacher for 25 years. He hit a rough patch and developed a drinking problem due to mental health issues. Sadly he committed suicide yet his name is still up there on the state website. Give the families of the deceased some peace and pass this bill.
