Shelley Grosky for Myself Rochester As a long time Rochester, NH resident since 2002, I filed a right to know with my local school district in September regarding an investigative report completed on the previous Superintendent Annie Azarloza. In September, October, and November the school district just kept kicking the deadline down the road to the next month, saying we should hear from them by then. In November, I was in court when the judge ordered this report to be released and the school district attorney told the judge she could have all the redactions completed by mid December. After 5 delays, instead of receiving the report, I received an email in early January 2026 stating the district has no intentions of releasing this tax payer funded investigative report. The subject of the investigation, Ms. Annie Azarloza, is fighting for its release as it showed no wrong doing on her part. What is the school district hiding by not releasing this tax payer funded report? As a long time resident and tax payer in the city of Rochester, I filed a right to know and expect to be able to see this redacted report. The lawyer for the school district told the judge she would have it done by mid December, so why did I receive an email stating it will never be released by the school district? We need to pass this bill so local tax payers may see these types of tax payer funded investigations, with redactions of course. In addition, since this investigative report cleared Ms. Annie Azarloza of any wrong doing on her part, she should have access to it so she may show future employers she broke no laws. The school district went on an unfounded witch hunt, costing tax payers a heft sum for absolutely no reason. We as local tax payers deserve to know what our taxes paid for in this report. I urge you to support Bill 1746-FN. | Rochester | Support | 1,802 | Jan 21, 2026 | |
