erick sawtelle for Myself Lee I support the bill except I have a question about the punctuation used in the language in the existing law: . 1 Dog Control Law; Guarding Crops. Amend RSA 466:30-a, I to read as follows: I. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter, it shall be unlawful for any dog to run at large, except when accompanied by the owner or custodian, and when used for hunting, for guarding, working, guarding crops, or herding ..... It seems to me that there should NOT be a coma after the word custodian? That coma seems to separate the following "and when used for hunting, for guarding, working, guarding crops, or herding livestock, as defined in RSA 21:34-a, II(a)(4), "from the wording "except when accompnied by the owner or custodian" so that the interpretation could be it shall be unlawful for any dog to run at large and when used for hunting, for guarding, working, guarding crops, or herding livestock, as defined in RSA 21:34-a, II(a)(4)? | Lee | Support | 972 | Feb 17, 2026 | |
