Jason Call for Myself Jefferson This bill is a common sense proposal to require probate notices involving real estate be recorded at the county registry of deeds. Currently, only some of these documents are recorded. Copies of probate notices are supposed to be sent to the appropriate town or city per RSA 554:18-a, but this is not always done, leading to tax bills and other notices going to incorrect owners. Sometimes this leads to late fees or interest accruing. It would also be much easier for those doing title research to be able to find all records regarding property transfers in one location going forward. | Jefferson | Support | 587 | Jan 21, 2026 | |
