Allowing the Governor to request more funding from the general fund to reimburse school districts for extraordinary and unexpected special educations costs is incredibly important for accessibility of public education. I support this bill! As a school board member, budgeting for special education is a challenge due to unpredictability. We, as public educators, must accept all students, as all students have a right to education. Assuring that they are fully funded is paramount to education,.

We need to be able to have the flexibility for the state to cover the expenses for students with disabilities to be able to attend public schools.

So important to make sure school districts have adequate funding to support kyds in special education. I support the Governor's approach. Please vote OTP.

As a former special education teacher for 25 years, this bill must reimburse school districts fir the costs of social education services.

At a time when members of this legislature seem deadset on gutting our public education system in favor of private institutions that have little oversight, I am in favor of any option that gives schools access to more funding to support students with disabilities.

Public schools are meant to provide a good education for all of its students and some children need special help so they can be productive citizens and can handle their learning difficulties, behavioral issues, and physical disabilities. These programs need funding from the state and hopefully the federal government.

Special Education needs to be funded by any means in order to comply with state law.

The funding for students with special needs is crucial. It is incumbent upon the state to support ALL STUDENTS.

Supporting students with disabilities is an important and collective responsibility. It is also too often a backbreaker for local school funding and therefore for property tax payers (all of us). Please pass this important bill.

Greetings from Sullivan County: The buyers club SAU model worked fine in 1873. Much like Biden, its time has passed. Internet and next day delivery have eliminated the need for carrying SAU overhead. It is worth studying (though my mind is made up).
