When Covid 19 hit the scene in 2020-21 record profits became more important than commonsense. When you look on the VAERS list, Ivermectin is one of the least lethal medicines on the market. Certainly better for you in a viral situation than even the Covid 19 jabs themselves. What happened to Ivermectin that made it so lethal for Americans but not for a large country like India? It's cheap to make, and that hurts big pharmas bottom line. Instead of a proven therapy like Ivermectin US citizens got Remdesivir which kills vital organs, we got ventilators which merely fed into the worst of this man manipulated virus. But but it's just horse paste! No. Ivermectin has been used with great success in humans for many years. This argument is used by pharma lobbyists and people who don't know anything about the medicine past what they are told on CNN and the rest of the badly run legacy media. The truth is Ivermectin is completely safe for human consumption as long as its being used properly. Your doctor or APRN knows how to properly use Ivermectin based on age, weight, and other comorbidities, New Hampshire has to get out of the way and take those who lie intentionally about this, pass the bill, send it to Governor Ayotte for signing. 14 other states are moving as we speak to implement OTC Ivermectin for their citizens 14 other states understand that a giant lie has been told. 14 other states are throwing a middle finger to big pharma executives who only care about their big fat profits. It's our time to tell the lobbyists, pharma executives and the high profile liars where to go and how to get their! Pass this bill. It's the right thing to do. Hon. Richard H Littlefield Laconia.

Ivermectin should be available at an affordable cost. New Hampshire should guard against price gouging and taxation on this drug. It has so many benefits.

While the intention to improve access to care is commendable, the proposed amendment undermines principles of evidence-based medicine. Standing orders should be reserved for medications with robust clinical evidence and clearly defined benefit-risk profile meeting an overall public health need to warrant bypassing the traditional patient-provider relationship, generating an individualized prescription. Ivermectin is not approved by the FDA for prevention or treatment of COVID-19 and repeated evaluations have not found sufficient evidence to support widespread use for this indication. Additionally, most cases of COVID-19 do not require specific medication treatment, therefore a standing order will drastically increase wasteful consumption of this medication, while subjecting patients to unnecessary side effects (ranging from minor arthralgias, pruritic, fever to more severe like cardiovascular effects). The lacking clinical evidence for using Ivermectin, as well as no current public health need, should disqualify this proposed amendment for a standing order.

Are you kidding me? We have a budget crisis, underfunded public education, underfunded environmental protections, underfunded infrastructure and a housing crisis and you want to bypass doctors for people to dose themselves with NO POSITIVE EFFECT with horse dewormer? Say NO to pseudoscientific, counterproductive horseshit.

Seriously? Invermectin? Even the current FDA only recommends usage for parasites and certain skin conditions. It is NOT recommended for COVID prevention or treatment.

I support this bill and amendment, because ivermectin is safer than ibuprofen. It is a noble prize winning medication. There are many published studies that show that ivermectin saves lives from COVID-19 and is showing it helps to save lives from cancer. This generic, cheap, life-saving medication needs to be easily and readily available to the public. Thank you. Sincerely, Donna Godin, Gorham, NH

This bill needs to be passed!! Ivermectin is a miracle drug, it has been around for many, many years, and it works so well for so many things with NO side effects. It MUST be made to be sold over the counter. In 2022, New Hampshire became the second state to pass this measure, but it was vetoed. Here's your chance again, folks! We are amending SB119 to add on a provision making Ivermectin over the counter via a standing order, and this needs to PASS!!! Please do the right thing and pass this bill!! Thank you!!

I am in favor of making Ivermectin available over the counter in New Hampshire. I used it to get over my Covid infection quickly and safely. The drug is 37 years old and has safely treated 40 million people according to Forbe’s and should be available to anyone who wants to use it. This seems quite non-controversial to me. If you are against it, or don’t want it, don’t buy it. As for myself and others in our beautiful live free or die state, allow it to be otc.

1. Established Safety Profile: • Ivermectin is an FDA-approved antiparasitic drug with decades of use in humans for conditions like river blindness and scabies, included on the WHO’s list of essential medicines. • Its safety is well-documented at approved doses, with billions of doses administered globally and a side effect profile comparable to or better than common drugs like aspirin or Tylenol. 2. Antiviral Properties in Vitro: • Laboratory studies have shown ivermectin can inhibit SARS-CoV-2 replication in cell cultures, achieving a significant reduction in viral RNA within 48 hours. • It has demonstrated antiviral effects against other RNA viruses (e.g., Zika, dengue, HIV) and DNA viruses, suggesting potential broad-spectrum antiviral activity. 3. Clinical Studies Showing Benefits: • Some randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and meta-analyses, particularly early in the pandemic, reported benefits like reduced mortality, faster viral clearance, and symptom improvement in COVID-19 patients. For example, a 2021 meta-analysis of 15 trials found a reduced risk of death (average risk ratio 0.38, moderate-certainty evidence). • Studies from countries like Bangladesh and Argentina noted faster viral clearance and reduced symptoms like anosmia and cough in treated patients. 4. Anti-Inflammatory and Immunomodulatory Effects: • Ivermectin exhibits anti-inflammatory properties, potentially mitigating the cytokine storm associated with severe COVID-19. This aligns with its observed benefits in late-phase disease where inflammation drives morbidity. • Its immunomodulatory effects are being explored for other conditions, like inflammatory skin diseases and autoimmune disorders, suggesting broader therapeutic potential. 5. Cost-Effectiveness and Accessibility: • Ivermectin is inexpensive and widely available, making it a practical option for low-resource settings where access to vaccines or other treatments may be limited. • Its low cost and oral administration could reduce healthcare system burdens compared to more expensive or complex therapies. 6. Potential Anticancer Applications: • Emerging research suggests ivermectin may have antiproliferative and proapoptotic effects in cancer cell lines, including breast cancer and glioblastoma, by inhibiting pathways like Akt/mTOR. This opens possibilities for repurposing beyond infectious diseases. 7. Support from Some Clinicians and Researchers: • Some physicians and researchers advocate for ivermectin based on clinical observations and studies, arguing it has been unfairly dismissed due to political or economic biases. • Proponents claim its suppression may be linked to the need for emergency use authorizations for other treatments, which require no existing alternatives.

I am writing as a pharmacist to urge you to vote in opposition to the ivermectin standing order amendment added to SB 119. Standing orders for medications authorize pharmacists to assess a patient’s particular health status and dispense the medication according to a protocol approved by the state’s medical director. These protocols undergo a rigorous review to ensure safety and efficacy, and are vetted by content experts, are supported by research and peer-reviewed literature, and are considered best practices. A standing order for ivermectin does not meet the standards established with these protocols.

Ivermectin is a 2015 Nobel Prize winning drug that has benefited millions of people. The resistance in offering it to the public is purely political Several other states dispense it over the counter. During Covid it was much maligned because the government censored all doctors, scientists and practitioners who supported its use, forever a shameful event in our history. Allow New Hampshire to become enlightened to this benign and thoroughly respected drug.

Please make ivermectin available over the counter. It would have saved countless lives during the covid pandemic, but the pharmaceutical companies and Faucci wanted to make billions off the unproven covid vaccine which was the biggest crime perpetrated against the American people. It's time to let the people have control of their health not the pharmaceutical companies. Thank you, Enid Mackenzie
