It is in the best interest of the people of NH that the body who elects constitutional officers, such as the Secretary of State is not the body that has the authority to suspend constitutional officers. The role of the judiciary is to interpret and apply laws, resolve disputes between parties, protect individual rights, and ensure that justice is served by acting as an impartial arbiter in legal matters, essentially acting as a check on the other branches of government by determining whether laws are constitutional and upholding the rule of law.
