Richard Burnham for Myself WOLFEBORO All state issued licenses are acquired via standardized test and have reference material that is parallel to this testing format. This includes the NH Boat License, NH Driver's License, NH Hunting License, and NH Trapper License. Even life saving certifications like CPR, First Aid, and First Responder all have standardized curriculum that you can study and learn from that isn't deceiving like the resources provided by the NH Fish and Game in order to become a guide. These resources are jumbled and not clear cut as to what is really on the current guides tests. The oral version (part 2) is a great example of this as scenarios are created by the head of the NH guides association (conflict of interest) and are given a pass/fail which is decided upon by this NH guide association member. Reason for failure is not provided thus mistakes cannot be corrected and acted upon for the time around. There needs to be more support and resources for applicants to use or else there is no learning opportunities and fair practices. Having the test in this format is also unethical for people with different learning pathways. There should also be more hands on opportunities or ways to test such as the first aid, cpr, and responder courses offer. I would hope that our current guides association members (even though some are grandfathered in and never had to take the current tests) and fish and game officers could offer this as they should be experienced to do so. | WOLFEBORO | Support | 1,466 | Feb 5, 2025

Diane Richardson for Myself Georges mills I support this bill as amended-Fg officers only administer the test and the test be standardized. The written test is already standardized but the oral test varies widely for each person taking it. Some get easy tests some impossible scenarios | Georges mills | Support | 244 | Feb 5, 2025
