I believe in diversity of energy sources, especially encouraging environmentally friendly alternative energy.

We prioritize energy sources for a reason. Climate change is an indisputable threat to our safety and removing regulations against damaging energy sources does not benefit our health, but certainly benefits corporate entities. Stand up for the welfare of your constituents and prioritize renewable energy. Why on earth would we leave the prioritization of something as essential as energy to "market forces"? That disputes the whole purpose of elected representatives, we need you to protect and enact policy that protects us from being run into the ground by those "market forces". New Hampshire is watching who is taking advantage of the current chaos and who is protecting our rights. We will remember when your seats are back up for election.

We need to oppose this bill. NH needs to consider all options including solar and wind for our energy needs to get the best prices for our power.

We need energy INDEPENDENCE from fossil fuels. Community Power is our way of achieving that goal.

HB504 is not "source agnostic." It favors fossil fuels, which come from out-of-state, thus sending billions of NH energy dollars out-of-state. As NH begins to build up renewable energy sources, such as wind, solar, and thermal, we are creating businesses and jobs. The dollars for those new businesses and jobs stay right in NH. A significant bonus: the cost of these renewable energy sources is falling below the cost of fossil fuels - so all those who care for the welfare of the ratepayer should support policies that build our burgeoning renewable energy industry.

It would be good if NH could enter the modern age and support all sources of technology which will bring us safely into the future, without destroying the environment. The State Energy plan should support a wide range of energy options and innovation. No point in being stuck in the expensive and destructive past.

Let's do what's right for our students.

Please ITL HB 504 - but keeping the focus on limited technologies - NH will fall behind on innovation and creating a healthier variety of energy sources that will make NH energy systems more robust in the long term.

This bill revises the state energy policy in a manner that de-emphasizes energy diversity and innovation in the Granite State. It would guide regulators to pass over least-cost resources like solar and wind for "firm" generators like those that burn fossil fuels.

NH needs to expand clean energy technologies and emphasize energy diversity in order to reduce energy costs, create jobs and drive local economic growth. This bill will do just the opposite. Please oppose this bill.

DO NOT revise the state energy policy in such a way that it de-emphasizes energy diversity and innovation in the Granite State. We need to consider all options and NOT have all our eggs in one basket as has been and continues to be the case with the OIL and GAS monopoly. There are cheaper and better alternatives such as SOLAR and WIND. As a NH resident, I am in favor of electrification as much as possible to avoid the increasing negative consequences of carbon impacts.
