With the amount of misinformation and people stating opinion as fact, this law should absolutely not move forward. It is important that political ads are clearly labeled as they have been previously.

I strongly oppose this bill. Political advertising disclaimer laws foster transparency and accountability in the political process. The ethical choice is to clearly mark political advertising. Why would we not want political advertising to be marked? This bill came about because of the failure of one newspaper publisher to clearly mark political advertisements in spite of multiple notifications of violations over the course of multiple years. Eliminating the requirement of marking political advertisements is not the right solution.

I really don't see any justification for this requirement. I believe that it is an insult to the intelligence of New Hampshire voters to suggest that they are unable to recognize political advertising without a label.
